Youth Coalition of Action Democratic Congress, ADC, in Niger State, has urged the people of the state to support the political aspiration of Dr. Mohammed Kpautagi, in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
The group, in a statement signed by Comrade Suleiman Dangana, noted that the politician has the wherewithal to liberate the the people of the state from its prevailing squabbles of hardships and poverty they are currently going through.
It therefore, urged them to unite for a better decision that would bring back the lost glory of the state, lamenting that a large percentage of the youths in the state are unemployed, ignored, and left out of decision-making.
The statement stressed that “this is not right, and will not be allowed to continue at the detriment of purposeful development of the state”.
“We, the youths strongly believe in Dr. Muhammad Kpautagi, a retired Director with the Federal Ministry Of Works and Housing, who has been demonstrating leadership qualities before now, and with maturity. He understands the struggle of the people and the pains of the youths. He believes that leadership is about service, not for personal aggrandizement”.
“His Governorship aspiration in 2027 on the ADC platform is about giving the youths a voice, by creating opportunities and changing the way leadership currently works in Niger State”.
It added that “Kpautagi’s leadership in the state will no doubt improve educational standard, empowerment of farmers, traders, and small business owners, and bring governance closer to the grassroots”.
According to the statement, youths of Niger State are the strength of this movement, urging them to ensure that Kpautagi is at the helm of affairs come 2027 through their energy, ideas, and courage to perfect their struggles for success.
“This struggle is to reawake the consciousness of the people for resolved coalition, sincerity, and collective responsibility, to support a leader that listens, and works for people’s needs”.
“We should bear in mind that with honesty, commitment, and the support of the masses, Dr Muhammad Kpautagi can lead Niger State to a better direction. This is our chance and our future”.
