Member representing Lafia Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Solomon Akwashiki, has restated his continued commitment to provide quality representation and more dividends of democracy to his constituents.
Akwashiki , Nasasarawa-SDP, stated this when officials of the Grass-Roots Mobilizer Movement paid him a courtesy visit in Lafia yesterday.
” I have provide the much needed dividends of democracy to my people. I have provided employment, boreholes, empowerment among various projects.
” It is said that when the righteous lead, the people rejoices, that is our guiding principles”, he said.
Akwashiki, Chairman House Committee on Public Accounts used the medium to appreciate the people of Lafia Central constituency for voting him irrespective of party affiliations.
He commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his developmental strides in the state and called on the people to give him more support to succeed.
Akwashiki, who expressed plans to seek recelectiin, appreciated the Speaker of the state legislature, Dr Danladi Jatau for stabilising the House.
Earlier, Mr Auwal Maku, the Leader of the delegation, said that the visit was to identify with Akwashiki on the good work he is doing in the state legislature.
” The Grass-root mobiliser for Mr Solomon Akwashiki (Mr Project) is a political support group across the 23 electoral wards of Lafia and ObI Local Government Areas.
” The group comprised youths, women and men as its members determined to bring provide massive support for the victory of Akwashiki in the 2027 elections and beyond”, he said.
The group called on the lawmaker to accept the peoples calls to contest for House of representatives for Lafia/ObI come 2027.
They also assured him of their loyalty and support at all times.
