A socio-political group under the aegis of Concerned Youth Group ,Worldwide, has unanimously declared the Senatorial ambition of Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere for Osun Central Senatorial District as a round peg in a round hole.
The Conveners of the group, Hon. Dr. Damilola Olakojo and Hon (Chief) Mrs. Foluke Ojo Adabale while fielding questions from journalists at a press conference Organised yesterday at Osun NUJ, in Osogbo, assured that his s.enatorial ambition will develop and transform the district.
“As the current State Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Alhaji Olaoluwa has done well for the development of the people of the state under the leadership of his principal, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
“He is not a novice in the political arena, he is completely a grassroots mobilizer, a tested administrator which his footprints speak louder than promises. He is not learning on the job but building on years of experience as his leadership journey is marked by impact, not noise, a silent achiever whose his projects touches many lives and his dedication to the people remains unwavering.
“What sets Alhaji Olaoluwa apart is not just his political capacity, but his emotional proximity to the people as he walks with them, eats with them, associates and celebrates their victories while he knows their problems and how to tackle them one after the other.
“Osun Central deserves more than a seat at the Red Chamber in Abuja, it needs not just a senator, but a strategist, not just a representative but a reformer, someone who can navigate national politics while anchoring local development and the person is Alhaji Olaoluwa.
“The man Olaoluwa is not seeking power for prestige but his ambition is anchored in purpose to consolidate the gains of the Adeleke administration and expand the frontiers of grassroots progress while his politics is a reflection of Governor Adeleke’s style, people-first, results-focused, and future-bound” the group stated.
The group which said further that people of Osun Central will not regret demonstrating their support to the Osogbo born politician, Alhaji Olaoluwa’s Senatorial ambition urged them to continue to stand firm and should not allow anything to shake their mind as he will not let them down.
The group, however, urged the constituents not to foment trouble, they should be law abiding while they should troop out in their numbers for the collection of their PVC immediately the INEC commence the exercise anytime from now.
