Mr Eze Chukwu, the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has called on Gov. Alex Otti of Abia to return to APGA.
Chukwu, who made the call in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, described APGA as Otti’s “true political home”, reminding him that the party once embodied his political aspirations and provided the platform for his past electoral victories.
He emphasised that Otti’s leadership style, people-oriented reforms, and reform-driven agenda align closely with the ideals and governance philosophy APGA had upheld since its founding.
The youth leader highlighted the party’s mantra of being one’s brothers’ and sisters’ keeper, noting that Otti’s approach to governance reflects this core APGA values.
Chukwu said that APGA maintains a cordial relationship with the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, positioning the party as a partner in progress rather than an adversary.
He warned that joining another political party at this stage could expose Otti to unnecessary political challenges, while returning to APGA would safeguard his interests and agenda.
Chukwu noted that Otti’s friend, Gov. Charles Soludo of Anambra, already maintains a productive relationship with the President Bola Tinubu, which strengthens APGA’s position as a safe political platform.
He said APGA’s leadership is youthful, dynamic, forward-thinking, committed to growth, progressive policies, and alignment with national governance objectives.
The youth leader appealed to Otti to reunite with the party, stressing that APGA has historically supported his political journey and understands his vision and strengths.
