Nigerian singer Harrysong has publicly revealed that he is currently in a polygamous relationship following his separation from his ex-wife, Alexer Peres.
In a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the father of two explained that all his current girlfriends are fully aware of each other and get along well.
He insisted there is nothing wrong with choosing polygamy, pointing to American singer Ne-Yo as an example of someone in a similar arrangement with multiple partners.
“I am currently in a polygamous relationship. Every one of my current girlfriends is acquainted with all the others. They are all doing well. And we are happy.
“Everybody is being treated right and respectfully. Everyone willing join. No one was forced. Ne-Yo has three wives. Just do whatever makes you happy. So don’t force your opinion on anyone,” he said.
Harrysong added that some of his girlfriends are foreigners, including one from America.
Aljazirah Nigeria recalls that Harrysong and Alexer Peres separated in 2024 after three years of marriage.
During the breakup, Harrysong accused his ex-wife of becoming pregnant for another man while still living under his roof, claiming they had not been intimate for over a year.
Alexer denied the allegations of infidelity and instead accused Harrysong of domestic violence and cheating on their wedding night.
The singer’s revelation has sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting his choice of lifestyle while others question the dynamics and timing of the disclosure.
