Tottenham Agree £55m Deal for Kudus in Rare West Ham Transfer

Tottenham have reached an agreement with West Ham to sign Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus for a fee of around £55 million. The 24-year-old is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday before signing a six-year contract with Spurs.

While Chelsea and Newcastle were also interested, Sky Sports News reports Kudus is keen on a move to Spurs, drawn by their project and the opportunity to play across the front line.

Since joining West Ham from Ajax in 2023, Kudus has scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists in 65 Premier League appearances. His versatility and experience in the league make him a strong addition to Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

This deal marks the first transfer between the London rivals since Scott Parker’s 2011 move to Spurs—highlighting how exceptional the Kudus signing is for both clubs.

Spurs remain interested in Brentford’s Yoane Wissa, but Kudus brings valuable depth and dynamism to their attacking options. As he nears his 25th birthday, Kudus is expected to slot in quickly given his familiarity with the Premier League’s pace and physicality.

Still, some questions linger over his consistency, particularly after a quieter second season with West Ham. Spurs will hope a new environment helps him rediscover his top form.
