In a landmark development for Nigerian football, Top-Tier Sport Management has announced a ₦40 billion sponsorship agreement with the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) and the Nigeria National League (NNL), marking one of the biggest private-sector investments in domestic football in the country’s history.
The historic 10-year partnership, unveiled on Friday in Abuja, is expected to significantly transform the structure, visibility and commercial viability of both leagues, while providing long-term financial stability for clubs and players.
Under the terms of the agreement, Top-Tier Sport Management will serve as the official title sponsor and commercial partner of the NWFL and NNL, with funds earmarked for improved prize money, enhanced club subventions, better officiating, grassroots development and expanded media coverage.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of Top-Tier Sport Management Chichinwoko described the deal as a bold commitment to buid a statble, viable NWFL and NNL.
“This ₦40 billion investment is about sustainability, growth and global relevance,” She said.
