FCT Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has called on Christians willing to participate in 2025 Pilgrimage to Jordan and Israel through it to come out and purchase forms as there are still more spaces for the spiritual journey.
Director of the Board, Gloria Dandam stated this in Abuja on Tuesday, noting that about five hundred and thirty intending Pilgrims is required to make a batch to participate in the pilgrimage.
Dandam disclosed that so far one hundred and fifty intending Pilgrims has purchase form in readiness for the journey through the board.
The Director expressed that already first and second batch from Bauchi and Gombe State has departed to the Holy land to perform the Pilgrim leaving FCT behind.
According to Dandam who stated that slot has not yet been given to FCT batch by the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC noted that arrangements are on to ensure FCT Pilgrims are well sensitize for a successful Pilgrim.
While believing that more interest members will purchase the form to make up the batches, Dandam noted that the NCPC has not yet set a date for FCT Pilgrim departure to the Holy land.
The Director noted that the Federal Government subvention is still on for all interested members of the Christian faithful willing to perform the Pilgrim in Jordan and Israel.
She appealed to philanthropists, churches, and wealthy Nigerians to contribute towards the pilgrimage expenses for less privileged individuals eager to undertake the sacred journey.
The FCT Pilgrim Welfare Board assured of its commitment to ensuring a smooth and fulfilling pilgrimage experience for all participants in Jordan and Israel.
