The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Volleyball Team recorded an impressive 3-2 victory over the Nigeria Correctional Service in a thrilling match at the 2025 Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) Super Cup.
CNS started the encounter on a strong note, dominating the opening set 25–18 with solid defense and well-coordinated attacks that put their opponents under early pressure.
The second set turned into a marathon battle, with both sides trading powerful spikes and resilient blocks before CNS edged it 36–34, showing composure and mental strength at crucial moments.
Correctional Services responded by taking the third set 25–22, also Correctional service team leverage on third set wake up to win in the fourth, 25-22 to make it 2-2 in an exciting and highly competitive encounter.
In a fierce and skills for skills encounter, the CNS took the bull by the horn to beat Correctional Service 15 -8 to win the 5th sets and secure 3-2 victory.
