As part of its ongoing modernization drive, the Nationwide League One (NLO), widely regarded as the cradle of Nigerian football, has scheduled a digital workshop for March 7 to train clubs on its newly upgraded online platform.

The virtual session, which will be held via Google Meet, is designed to equip managers and selected personnel from Division One and U-19 Youth League clubs with the knowledge required to effectively navigate the league’s new website and digital registration portal ahead of the 2026 season.

In a statement issued by the league’s secretariat, Africa’s largest grassroots football league announced the launch of its enhanced official website and digital registration system. According to the NLO, the upgraded platform is aimed at streamlining player licensing processes, strengthening data security, and delivering a more seamless and efficient experience for all affiliated clubs.

To ensure a smooth transition to the new system, the league has made participation in the training compulsory for all Club Secretaries and Administrators.

The workshop is scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m. on March 7, with access details to be shared via email 24 hours before the session, alongside login credentials for the demo portal.

Training Agenda Include; Tour of the New Interface: Overview of the 2026 NLO dashboard; Player and Official Registration: Upload of required documents and biometric data; Payment Integration: Processing league fees through the portal; Transfer & Clearance: Managing player transfers digitally and Interactive Q&A Session: Addressing technical questions and challenges from clubs.

Important Notes: Participants are advised to ensure a stable internet connection and have access to a laptop or desktop computer for the training.

The meeting link and demo portal login details will be forwarded to registered email addresses 24 hours before the workshop.

The initiative underscores the NLO’s commitment to embracing digital innovation and enhancing operational efficiency across its competitions.
