Musiala Speaks After Surgery, Says ‘No One to Blame’

Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala has provided an update after undergoing surgery for a fractured fibula and dislocated ankle sustained in a clash with PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma during their FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final loss.

In a social media video, the German international thanked fans for their support and said:

“The surgery went well. I’m in good hands. There’s no one to blame—injuries are part of the game.”

“I think situations like this happen and now I am just going to use the next period of time to build up by strength and my positivity again. I am looking forward to seeing you guys again

Musiala is expected to be out for at least four months, putting his return before the 2026 World Cup in doubt.
