Member representing Fika/Fune Federal Constituency of Yobe State, Engr Buba Jajere, has sympathized with victims of the flood disaster that wreaked havoc in his constituency.
He said the devastating flood destroyed homes, farms and businesses.
Jajere said, “My heart goes out to all those affected by this calamity. I understand the pain and hardship that this disaster has caused and I want you to know that my thoughts are with each and every one of you during this difficult time.”
He expressed regret over the incident, which left thousands of households homeless.
According to him, “It is important to remember that we are a community. We will face this challenge together and I am committed to doing everything in my power to support you.
“I want to use this opportunity to commiserate with our brothers and sisters affected by the recent flood disaster that rendered many people homeless,” Jajere said.
He assured that we are working closely with relevant authorities and organisations to provide the necessary assistance and relief to those impacted.
He appealed to the victims and the people of Fika/Fune to be patient, remain grateful to Almighty God and view the disaster as something destined by Allah (SWT). I have faith in our resilience and the strength of our spirit”, he added.
