National Coordinator, Southern Movement for Asiwaju 2027, Alhaji Ayanleke Musa Tunde, yesterday commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for ensuring a free and fair electoral process in the just concluded governorship election in Anambra state.
According to Alhaji Ayanleke who described President Tinubu as a “Democrat” in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen on Sunday, “Mr President must be commended for upholding democratic principles, as he stands on the need for credible polls on the election day.
“I am very glad to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for being a very true democrat as he has demonstrated very firmly his total commitment to guarantee a free and fair election, this is a good example being demonstrated by our own Asiwaju for other leaders to emulate.
“I also want to commend the newly appointed Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Chairman, Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan, as the election was the best conducted in the state since the introduction of technology into the process.
“As your first outing, you have done well and this is a good start, and I am very excited that your first impression is a very emphatic one, you have delivered” the Coordinator, Southern Movement for Asiwaju 2027 concluded.
