Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has mourned the passing of Alhaji Nuhu Dantani, father of Barrister Hamza Nuhu Dantani, a prominent human rights lawyer and activist.
The governor’s condolence message was issued on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad.
Yusuf described the late Dantani as a respected elder whose life was marked by dignity, strong moral values, and commitment to family and community. He noted that the deceased raised a son who has continued to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of justice and human rights, reflecting the solid upbringing he received.
The governor extended his condolences to Barrister Hamza Nuhu Dantani, the Dantani family, and friends and associates of the deceased. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Dantani and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, while giving the family the strength to bear the loss.
