FROM SAMSON ALFA, MINNA
Students of the Federal University of Technology, FUT, Minna have threatened to resist attempts to cede or share any of the university’s assets at Bosso Campus with another university.
The students stated this while the FUT council members were deliberating on the land crisis with the Niger State government.
Responding, a member of the council, Pastor Timothy Ademola assured the students that the council will follow the path of law, truth and justice to overcome the land grab crisis in Bosso campus.
Ademola, an external member of the council disclosed this yesterday.
The students also demanded that the Pro-Chancellor, Dr Mohammed Santuraki should not chair the emergency meeting, as they believe he has compromised and failed in his role as the custodian of the university’s assets on behalf of the visitor.
Ademola appealed to the students to allow the council meeting hold and assured that they are men of integrity and would not be bought over by anybody to do wrong.
