Adamawa State government on Thursday expressed readiness to improve the ease of doing business.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, made this known at the coronation of Professor Bulus Gadiga, the first Paramount Ruler of Michika, as a second class ruler in Michika.
The governor said improving the ease of doing business has become necessary in order to create a conducive atmosphere and attract prospective investors.
“I hope that the traditional ruling institutions will support and even do better.
“We are focused on delivering tangible results for the people of Adamawa and build a more resilient and prosperous future for all.
“Our commitment extends to poverty alleviation programmes, supporting Small and Medium Enterprises, SMEs, and promoting green investments,” Fintiri said.
He said the creation of Michika Chiefdom was not only a positive response to the people’s request, but also a bold step toward harnessing the tremendous human and natural potentials of the area.
The governor urged residents to unite and make the chiefdom a model of unity, peace, progress and development.
“I call on all Michika sons and daughters to jettison the individualistic republican mindset and imbibe the culture of unity, solidarity and community spirit,” Fintiri said. (NAN)
