The highly anticipated 2024 edition of Glorious Kids Volleyball Competition will take center stage come Saturday, October 26 inside the most popular Mohsood Abiola Stadium in the Nigeria’s Capital City with a whole excitement.
The tournament will feature 10 teams both male and female player of the teams like, Glorious Spikers, Start Spikers, Jikwoyo Brave, Rockstar, Scorpions Spikers, Karu United.
Others participating team are; NY SPIKERS, FSK kabusa, Defence Spikers U16 and Dominion Spikers Kuje U13.
The yearly Glorious Kids Volleyball Tournament with aim of providing opportunity for Children in FCT to showcase their talents in sport activities.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, the Founder and CEO of Glorious Kids Volleyball tournament, Gloria Obot stated that her desire is to take many children off the street that is why the tournament was put in place the competition in Abuja and Lagos to keep the children busy.
“My desire is to raise as many children as possible and the only way to do it is to have this tournament for talent identification that can represent FCT at national and international competitions.
“We are here to lecture them on the dangers of drugs abuse and importance of skills acquisition and education improve their growth and general wellbeing which will enable them to live a better life”.
She, however, call on all private and individual to support the event adding that government can’t do it alone, i am using this medium to appeal to all the friends and family support this course toward putting smile on the face of the FCT children and make them useful to themselves and society
