.Says Nigerian youths are achievers

President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio said Nigerian youths have what it takes to rule the world, only if relevant government agencies encourage them to achieve their potentials.
Akpabio stated this while receiving 11 years old Miss Cara Antai, who won Bronze at the prestigious Global Final 2, held at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom, in his country home, Ukana, Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
According to Akpabio, “I congratulate you on this great feat. It shows that Nigerians, if given the opportunity and encouragement by relevant agencies of government can achieve alot.
“This award bestowed on you is a demand for more hard work. I also congratulate your parents, Dr and Mrs Antai, for ensuring that you achieve this great feat.”
The competition brought together, over 20,000 participants from 69 countries, which began with an online round and culminated in the prestigious Global Final 2, held from July 27 to August 3 at the University of Surrey, UK.
Among the proud representatives of Nigeria were eight students—five from Nigeria Turkish International College, NTIC, Abuja and three from NTIC Yobe.
Competing in TeenEagle 1 category, which tested receptive skills (reading and listening) and productive skills (writing and speaking), Antai delivered an outstanding performance.
Her achievements at the global rounds include third place (Bronze) – TeenEagle 1 Category and a Special Award – Best in Charisma.
