African Democratic Congress, ADC, has faulted the All Progressive Congress, APC, Over it’s claims of 11 million votes to return it’s presidential candidate , Bola Amhned Tinubu for the 2027: presidential election.
Addressing journalists Monday while preparing for the collation of the presidential primary election results , chairman , of ADC , Presidential Primary election Committee, Chief Ikechi Emenike said the the ADC is the only party that conducted real primaries ,by demonstrating genius commitment to transparency in selecting all their candidates.
The ADC has embraced a credible democratic process that gives every qualified aspirant an equal opportunity to present their vision and earn the support of party members across the country.
” As you would seen, we know how to count properly and arithmetically. We are ADC , we will not inflate our registration numbers to deceive Nigerians . And when counting the votes , we will not jump from 3 to 30 or 500 to 1000
Also speaking, National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdhllahi described the APC claims of having 11 million registered members as bunch of lies , challenging the APC to produce the party register for public scrutiny
We are proud that we are the only party conducting primary today , as we speak none of the aspirants can say he will fly the party’s flag. The winer will be announce tomorrow afternoon.
We have 3,4m members submitted to INEC , we don’t need to infate figures and deceives Nigerians like APC, ,we challenge APC , if they claim they have 11m members , , let them provide the register, it’s all lies
On factional presidential candidate , he dismissed them that there is no faction in ADC , as they are not recognized by Law.
“I am surprised that some of you are still calling it faction . There is no faction in ADC . If you go to the INEC porter Sen. David Mark and Rauf Aregbesokola names are there. As far as we are concerned it is not an event and doesn’t exist. They went there to entertain themselves , how does it concern us.”
