Alia Lauds APC NWC Over Caretaker C’ttee

Benue State governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, has expressed appreciation to the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for wading into the protracted crisis bedeviling the party. 

Governor Alia stated this at the weekend when he received Benue State APC Caretaker Committee at the Government House, Makurdi.

He commended the National Working Committee for setting up a committee to address the challenges facing the party in Benue State. 

The governor also congratulated the caretaker committee members for accepting to serve the state and expressed confidence that their leadership would bring unity to Benue APC and put smiles on the faces of all party members.

Alia described the establishment of the caretaker committee as a strategic move towards resolving the APC crisis in Benue State and promote unity among members.

Responding on behalf of the team, Chairman of the committee, Benjamin Omale, thanked Governor Alia for receiving them.

He pledged the committee’s determination to work for the good of the party in the state and the nation at large.

The caretaker committee include Benjamin Omale (Chairman), Bem Anger (Secretary), Richard Mzungweve, James Ornguga, Terhemen Ngbea, Helen Agaigbe, and Ali Francis Adah respectively. 

Similarly, Governor Alia thanked the federal government and security agencies for ensuring the safe release of the abducted medical students. 

He also appreciated the commissioner of police and his team, the army, Operation Zende, Joint Task Force, Volunteer Guards and local vigilante for their efforts in combating crime in the state.
