Benue citizens especially adults within the ages of alcoholic consumption have been challenged to emulate the Chinese model of ‘Inclusive Economy’ by patronizing Zeva lager beer and other brands which are products from the newly established food basket brewery to boost the state economy.
Group Managing Director, GMD of BIPC,Dr. Raymond Asemakaha gave the charge in Makurdi, while addressing journalists at a watch party of UEFA Champions league organized by BIPC in collaboration with Oddy Woods to promote Zeva premium lager beer, where thousands of football lovers turned out to watch the championship.
Asemakaha who as a supporter of Arsenal used the UEFA championship league to pre-introduce Zeva beer in the market space, assured that the product was not just coming to the market but fully prepared to take over its rightful place in Benue, the middle belt and Nigeria’s market space.
According to the GMD,BIPC, when China was in difficulties,they did what they called inclusive economy by patronizing their own products, urging Benue people including youths, women and adults who drink alcohol to embrace Zeva ,a product of the people.
” What we are doing is an introduction of our products and to ensure that Zeva is known all over the country. On the 10th June, during the world cup Zeva’s advert’s will feature prominently at the national stadium and the company will continue to produce the beer which is the pride of Benue”, Asemakaha said.
He implored Benue people that, as they think of beer,they should consider Zeva first, expressing the believe that every Kobo spent buying Zeva ,Oyi bitters and other products of the company would be retained back to the state for development through revenue.
Asemakaha also announced that a malt drink which is non alcoholic as well as other carbonated drinks would soon be introduced to the market, urging the people particularly Benue people to note that taking Zeva lager beer and other products produced by the food basket brewery would be contributing to the development of the state as the income would be plough back to the state economy.
Also speaking Engineer Leo, a Chinese, who installed machines at the factory attested that throughout his stay in the country having tasted different brands of beer, affirmed Zeva Lager as one of the best in terms of quality, urging Nigerians and people across the globe to patronize Zeva premium lager beer.
