Mr Maigari confirmed that the primary elections were carried out strictly in accordance with party regulations and the 2026 Electoral Act. He expressed his gratitude to INEC officials, security agencies, and the press for their invaluable support throughout the proceedings. He also praised the leadership of the Zamfara APC for the seamless cooperation that led to such a successful outcome.
Speaking at the collation centre, the Zamfara APC chairman, Kabiru Moyi, commended the committee for delivering a peaceful and transparent ballot.
“The primaries were conducted in absolute alignment with our party’s guidelines,” Mr Moyi noted.
He went on to thank rank-and-file party members for their exemplary behaviour, urging supporters to maintain this constructive approach during the upcoming senatorial, gubernatorial, and state assembly primaries.
