Ramatu Aliyu hails Aduda’s APC Primary Victory For FCT Senate

Former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has hailed the victory of Philip Aduda at the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary for the FCT, describing it as a clear endorsement of his political experience and grassroots appeal.

Aliyu, in a congratulatory message, said Aduda’s emergence reflects the confidence reposed in him by party delegates and stakeholders across the territory. She noted that the outcome of the primary underscores the strength of internal democracy within the APC in the FCT.

She added that Aduda’s track record in public service positions him as a strong candidate to represent the interests of residents, stressing that the party remains united ahead of the general elections.

According to her, “Your victory at the primary is not only well deserved but a testament to your resilience, dedication and long-standing commitment to the people of the Federal Capital Territory.”

She further stated, “This success clearly reflects the trust and confidence that party members and delegates have in your leadership capacity and your ability to deliver effective representation at the Senate.”

Aliyu urged party faithful to rally behind the candidate, emphasising the need for unity and collective effort to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections.

“I am confident that you will carry this momentum forward and work tirelessly to justify the mandate given to you,” she said.

She also called on stakeholders across the FCT to close ranks, adding that the party’s chances remain strong if members remain focused and committed to a common goal.
