Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State for Primary Healthcare, Dr Michael Oyerinde, yesterday called on the people of the state to demonstrate their unalloyed support to the second term bid of Mr Governor due to his laudable performance.
Dr Oyerinde who made this known while answering questions from our Correspondent in Osogbo the Osun State capital, said residents of Osun should not hesitate to support Governor Adeleke’s re-election bid come August 8th Governorship election saying his efforts to avert epidemic disease in the state is a round peg in a round hole.
Dr Oyerinde emphasised that, Governor Adeleke will continue to hold his stand on the provision of quality healthcare services which he said would remain a cornerstone of his administration in the state.
The Special Adviser, said Governor Adeleke’s efforts in improving service delivery in public healthcare centers in Osun cannot be over emphasised, while his efforts to revamp infrastructures in hospitals in order to meet the health needs of the people is a good omen.
Dr Oyerinde who assured residents that the incumbent administration in Osun will not relent to prioritise issues around public healthcare delivery said, Governor Adeleke identified quality healthcare service as a cardinal agenda of his government.
According to the Special Adviser, “The state we met most those facilities when our administration came onboard was not encouraging, very distasteful, and appalling but Governor Adeleke has done well in by revamping the affected centers that needed the intervention of the government.
“Let me appreciate Mr Governor for fulfilling his campaign promises as he has already rehabilitated and upgraded these facilities even with solar power and adequate water supply.
“That is the main reason why people continue to be praising Governor Adeleke’s administration as he remains “Mr Talk and Do”, as they described Governor’s initiative as the validation of his exceptional performance.
