NVBF 2025 Super Cup: Customs Volleyball Club Thrash Life Camp VC 3–0

Nigeria Customs Service Volleyball Club opened their 2025 Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) Super Cup campaign in emphatic fashion, sweeping aside Life Camp VC in straight sets at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

As hostilities began in the second match of the competition, the Customs side set the tone early with aggressive serving and solid blocking, edging the first set 25–21 despite resistance from Life Camp, who battled hard to stay in contention.

Customs tightened their grip in the second set, dictating play with quick transitions and effective attacks to pull clear at 25–18. Their improved coordination and composure at crucial moments left Life Camp struggling to find answers.

The dominance continued in the third set as Customs maintained their intensity and closed out the contest 25–23, sealing a convincing 3–0 victory and announcing their intent as strong contenders in the 2025 NVBF Super Cup.

In the game played eairler, the Nigeria Correctional Service Sweep Ajase Ipo of Ilorin 3–0 also in  a straight-sets victory over Ajase Ipo in an entertaining encounter.

The opening set proved to be the most competitive, with both sides trading powerful serves and quick attacks. 

Ajase Ipo pushed NCS to the limit, but the Correctional Service team showed composure at the crucial moments to edge the set 28–26.

NCS asserted their dominance in the second set, tightening their defence and improving their attacking efficiency to pull clear. Their superior organisation at the net paid off as they claimed the set 25–17, leaving Ajase Ipo struggling to keep pace.

Ajase Ipo rallied strongly in the third set and threatened to extend the match, but NCS once again held their nerve. A disciplined finish saw the Correctional Service side close out the set 25–23, sealing a 3–0 win and making a strong statement of intent in the Super Cup.
