Osun State Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, yesterday, declared that, Osun is steadily advancing toward the long-envisioned goal of a sustainable and prosperous homeland for all under the transformational leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
According to the Commissioner while speaking with journalists in Osogbo, “In less than three years of pragmatic and people-centered governance, all thirty One Local Government Areas have witnessed unprecedented grassroots infrastructural development, a clear testament to the Governor’s commitment to inclusive growth and his resolve to carry everyone along, leaving no one behind.
“Governor Adeleke is changing this narrative in Osun and across the South west, unlike most states that depend heavily on borrowing to sustain governance, Osun under Adeleke is championing a new era of transparency, prudence, and people-driven development without borrowing a dime for more than three years.
“Mr Governor is presently paying backlogs of debt owed by the All Progressives Congress, APC’s led administration to ensure Osun is debt-free as a state.
“For Governor Adeleke whose administration has delivered notable achievements in infrastructure and economic development, the most impactful gift the party can bequeath to the people in Osun Central Senatorial District would be to secure the future of our senatorial for the people to support my ambition.
“Osun Central Senatorial District need a senator who understands the real needs of our people; better roads, youth empowerment, quality education, and inclusive growth, without making mouth, I have the capacity, the character, the charisma and the connections to attract meaningful projects and policies that will transform our communities.
“Osun know what they want. Their unwavering support and generous contributions toward Governor Adeleke’s re-election ahead of the August 8, 2026 governorship election are a loud statement of confidence in his leadership.
