The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has approved Dates for the conduct of Ekiti and Osun gubernatorial primary elections.
Addressing journalists after the party’s National Executive Committee , NEC , meeting , Tuesday on Abuja, National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi said the party is now prepared for the coming election.
He said the party also took other important decision to strengthen the party ahead of the election.
Abdullahi said ” We just ended our first NWC meeting , one of the key conclusions is party rebranding committee .
The NWC also approved dates for the Ekiti and Osun primary elections. The Ekiti primaries will take place from October 10 to November 20th, 2025
While Osun will take place between November and December .
Those are the key decisions of the NWC.
“The forth decision is that, as you know , many of the states only have the state chairman in place , now the NWC has transition operational guidelines that will run the affairs of the party ahead of the congresses that are coming up”
According to the National Publicity Secretary, NPS, the committees set up include , constitutional review, policy advocacy, membership and rebranding .
