Benue State governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia has congratulated former Military President Ibrahim Babangida on his 84th birthday.
Alia, in a statement yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, described Babangida’s 84 years as a testament to God’s grace, benevolence and mercies, marked by outstanding accomplishments and great personal fulfillment.
He acknowledged the significant role that the former leader played in shaping Nigeria’s political and economic development.
The governor prayed for continued divine sustenance and strength for the octogenarian, wishing him many more years of good health and happiness.
