Gombe: AGILE Empowers Teachers With Digital Skills, Safety Training

Gombe State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment, AGILE, has equipped public school teachers and principals with essential digital and safety skills to improve education delivery.

The initiative included a four-day workshop at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe, focusing on data management, internet security and digital literacy. 

The Project Coordinator, Dr Amina Abdul noted that the programme prepares educators to meet global ICT challenges.

Digital Skills Component Lead, Usman Ibrahim urged participants to share their knowledge with colleagues and students, especially adolescent girls to broaden the programme’s impact.

EMIS desk officers were established in public schools to strengthen education management system in the state.
