Tinubu Commissions 10km Road Linking Two Abuja Rural Communities

President Bola Tinubu has commissioned a completed 10 kilometers road linking Kabusa and Ketti communities under the Abuja Municipal Area Council of the FCT.

Tinubu who was represented at the commissioning ceremony on Friday by the Speaker of House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass described the road as one that is capable of transforming the lives of not only residents of Kabusa and Ketti but also surrounding communities.

The President explained that provision of infrastructure that will positively transform the lives of rural dwellers has been part of his administration Renewed Hope Agenda since assuming leadership position of the country.

He expressed appreciation to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike for his steadfast In ensuring prompt delivery of the project including meeting up to the specification and satisfaction of the people.

” This project aligns squarely with the renewed hope agenda of my administration, which places people at the centre of governance. We believe that good governance is not theory, it is action reflected in the daily lives of the people.

” The road not only eases mobility, it enhances trade, it improves access to schools and healthcare, and it ensures that rural and peri-urban communities are not left behind in the march towards progress.

” Our government remains steadfast in its resolve to deliver on critical infrastructure, roads, schools, hospitals, power and digital access, not only in city centres but also in the smaller communities that form the backbone of our nation. To the people of Ketti and Kabusa, this road is yours. I urge you to protect it, use it responsibly and take ownership of its maintenance.

In his address, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Nyesom Wike expressed happiness over the mammoth crowd of residents that came out rejoicing to witnessed the project commissioning saying it was a sign that they are happy with the government.

” The important of this road is why you can see the community have come out here in their numbers to celebrate it. And that is what government owes. When government does it’s own work, you see the reflection in faces of the people.

” I’m sure this is the first time the people of Ketti is getting government attention, so I commend them. I commend the youths including the traditional rulers for the support they gave to the contractors.
