Minister of Interior, Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has declared that the second term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 general elections is settled.
Hon Tunji-Ojo made this declaration on Saturday during the inauguration of the State Coordinator of Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, BTO Unit to Unit for Tinubu’s re-election, it’s Unit, Ward and Local Government Coordinator in Akoko South West/East Federal Constituency in Akungba.
The Minister of Interior who was ably represented at the well attended inauguration ceremony by the Chairman of the group in Akoko South West/East Federal Constituency, Hon Abiodun Ogunbi, enjoined Nigerians to support the continuity of Mr President’s ongoing reforms beyond 2027.
Hon Tunji-Ojo said President Tinubu’s led administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda had delivered measurable progress across critical sectors, including the economy, education, infrastructure, and Nigeria’s international image.
Hon Tunji-Ojo, called on the members of the newly inaugurated group to work assiduously at the grassroots level for the All Progressives Congress, APC to ensure a landslide victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, “You should all take campaigns to the grassroots to ensure 95% winning in the coming 2027 election while the Mandate is to identify likely problems in the units level for necessary solutions”.
Hon Tunju Ojo, who is the one financing the political groups further charged members to identify the aggrieved people that got aggrieved owing to Congress differences.
“The Group coordinators were also mandated to work very well and ensure the continuity of the following, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Rep Gboyega Adefarati”.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman of the group in Akoko South West/East Federal Constituency, Hon Abiodun Ogunbi, who congratulated members of the newly inaugurated groups, extolled Interior Minister Bunmi Tunji-Ojo for his unflinching support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
“You are an illustrious son whose efforts have mobilized grassroots support, mainly in Ondo State.
“Your effective performance in the Ministry of Interior as a major contribution to strengthening Mr President’s led administration image cannot be over emphasised”, Hon Ogunbi stressed.
