2026: Osun Commissioner, Asejere Canvasses Adeleke’s Re-election

As the August 2026 Governorship election is approaching in Osun State, the Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs in the state, Aare Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere, yesterday, called on the people of the state to champion the transformative leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Aare Asejere while speaking with journalists in Osogbo on the activities of Governor Adeleke said, his administration has redefined public service through massive road projects all over the state, youth and women empowerment, better life for rural dwellers, welfare of civil servants and pensioners as well as artisans and farmers.

The Osogbo-born politician said, Governor Ademola Adeleke has consistently demonstrated dedication, courage, and unwavering commitment to the people, hence residents of Osun should consolidate the gains and continue building a greater Osun State togetherness. 

Aare Asejere who is also the Senatorial hopeful for Osun Central Senatorial District in the forthcoming election stressed that, “The future of Osun State demands stability, consistency and purposeful leadership. The Imole administration under Governor Ademola Adeleke represents a clear departure from stagnation to people-focused governance.

Aare Asejere who has thrown his full weight behind the Imole Continuity project, emphasizing that Osun cannot afford a break in the developmental direction currently being experienced across the state.

He said, “Continuity is not about politics alone; it is about protecting the gains already recorded in governance, strengthening institutions, and deepening the trust between government and the people.

“Party members, stakeholders and the electorate should remain united and focused, noting that sustaining Imole is a collective responsibility for the progress and prosperity of Osun State as the state moves closer to the next electoral cycle, the political direction is clear. Accord is the party come August 8, 2026”.
