PDP Councillorship Candidates Defect To ADC, Endorse Dr, Kpautagi As Niger Gov

    As 2027 continue to gather momentum members of political parties are switching over to other political parties of their choice,just as People’s Democratic party PDP Councillorship Candidates in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State,defected to African Democratic Congress,ADC.

   This follows the recent meeting between the former Councillorship Candidates of PDP,,with ADC stalwart,Alh Maji Mohammad, Talba Mokwa,where they  resolved to defect to ADC, and also endorse,Dr. M.K. Kpautagi a retired Federal Director as their preferred Niger State governorship candidate come 2027.

   A statement signed by. Comrade  Mohammed Kanko, disclosed that,”Today Tuesday,we at Mokwa, Niger State,the 11

 PDP Councillorship Candidates in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State held a historic meeting and have collectively took a  decision to defect to the African Democratic Congress ,ADC.

   “We have also resolved to throw our support and endorse,Dr Muhammad Kpautagi,the Niger State  ADC governorship aspirant who they described as  a highly respected, and discipline person,  his qualities of leadership during his civil service days at federal  Capital FCT should be replicated here in Niger State as governor”

   It further stated that the Councillors were Speaking with one voice,as they were rigged out by the rulling party APC, during the last November 2025 local government elections.

  While addressing the defectors,Alh Majin Mohammed Mokwa,commended the bold and courageous steps by the Councillors particularly their support giving to Dr Mohamed Kpautagi as governorship aspirant.

   According to Majin, what reman is to uphold unity of purpose and reflects the growing strength of the movement particularly at the grassroots level, to free Nigerlites and Nigerians from the  economic stagnation,adding that Dr Kpautagi have what it takes to salvage Nigerlites from administrative catastrophe.
