Women Summit: Boss FM’s Osadolor Ehima Champions Women’s Empowerment

At the forefront of this year’s highly anticipated Women Summit, Kambili Osadolor Ehima, CEO and a prominent voice at Boss FM, call for collective action in advancing women’s empowerment across Nigeria and beyond.

Held in Abuja, the annual Women Summit brought together influential leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and advocates to discuss the evolving role of women in shaping a more inclusive and equitable society.

Kambili, known for her dynamic presence on air and dedication to social change, emerged as a key speaker and advocate for gender equality.

In her keynote address, Kambili emphasized the urgent need to break systemic barriers hindering women’s progress in leadership, media, and entrepreneurship. “Empowerment is not just a buzzword. It is about giving women the tools, the voice, and the platform to lead confidently and contribute meaningfully to society,” she said.

She acknowledged the obstacles that women face, including being told to be quiet or being judged for being too bold or ambitious while encouraging women to rise above these challenges and support one another.

She celebrated the strength and resilience of women, particularly single mothers and young girls who have been told they are too much or not enough. She emphasized the importance of women uplifting and supporting each other.

She encouraged women to connect, share, and support one another, emphasizing that when women come together, they can create positive change and transform their communities.

Osadoro urged women to take action, to dream without restraints, and to strive for more, emphasizing that women are not just leaders of tomorrow, but architects of now, and that they have the power to create change and build a better future.

“When women come together, not just to survive, but to soar together, the world doesn’t just change. It transforms completely.”

Pastor Mrs. Ifioma Eze, challenges societal norms and stereotypes that restrict women’s roles, urging women to believe in themselves and their capabilities.

Mrs. Eze encourages women to recognize their potential and not be limited by societal expectations.

She criticizes the practice of always assigning leadership roles to men while relegating women to secondary positions.

She urges women to believe in themselves and strive for their goals, emphasizing that they can be anything they want to be.

Also, the CEO business review Africa, Helen Okoh advice women on understanding oneself and prioritizing goals, emphasizing on the importance of self-awareness, knowing one’s strengths, weaknesses, and priorities.

She shared her approach to balance, which involves prioritizing tasks based on their urgency and importance, rather than dividing time equally among all tasks.

She encourages listeners to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing tasks that require immediate attention.
