His Royal Majesty, Sir Eze Ifeanyi, has extended warm congratulations to Mr. Uche Odozor on his election as President of the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC) Africa, describing the victory as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and visionary leadership.
In a statement signed by the Director-General of the All FCT Sports Association (AFSA), Mr. Agbor Clinton, on behalf of His Royal Majesty, Sir Eze Ifeanyi, on Monday, in Abuja expressed deep admiration and support for the new WBSC Africa President.
“On behalf of His Royal Majesty, Sir Eze Ifeanyi, and the entire All FCT Sports Association, I heartily congratulate you on your well-earned election as President of WBSC Africa. Your emergence is a testament to your commitment, integrity, and long-standing contributions to the growth of baseball and softball on the continent,” the statement read.
It further commended Odozor’s consistent efforts in driving talent development, fostering unity, and promoting international collaboration, noting that his leadership has elevated the profile of baseball and softball both within and beyond Africa.
“His Royal Majesty remains a strong advocate for sports as a vital instrument for youth empowerment, national pride, and continental cohesion. He is particularly delighted by your victory and confident that under your leadership, WBSC Africa will attain greater milestones,” the statement added.
Sir Eze Ifeanyi also assured of the All FCT Sports Association’s readiness to collaborate with Odozor in advancing sports development initiatives across the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria, and Africa as a whole.
“Once again, congratulations on this remarkable achievement. We wish you divine wisdom, renewed strength, and continued success as you steer WBSC Africa to new heights,” the statement concluded.
