Members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Olorunda Local Government area of Osun State have been urged to work together to ensure total victory of the party in the forthcoming elections.
This call was made when the leadership and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP, Olorunda Local Government area of Osun State gathered at the residence of the apex leader, Senator. Oluwole Alabi, presided over by Olorunda PDP Chairman, Hon. Ademola Nurudeen Hamzat, to deliberate on issues of party unity, strength, and direction ahead of the forthcoming elections.
After extensive deliberations, the meeting resolved as follows: Resolutions:
I:The stakeholders unanimously reaffirmed the indivisible unity and unshakable accord within Olorunda PDP, pledging continued commitment to collective progress and victory.
ii.The Olorunda Stakeholders unanimously endorsed Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere as the sole PDP aspirant for the Osun Central Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections, with a firm pledge of unwavering support until his victory is secured
iii. The stakeholders equally gave their total endorsement to Hon. Alhaji Maruff Adewale Gangaria for a second term as the sole PDP aspirant representing Osogbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
iv. Also the leaders and stakeholders resolved that “without 2026, there cannot be 2027. Accordingly, they reaffirmed their absolute loyalty and support for the second term bid of Senator Dr. Ademola Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, while expressing optimism in his resounding victory come 2026.
V. The motion for the dual endorsements was formally moved by Hon. Obafemi Akolade, Olorunda Local Government Chairman, and seconded by Hon. Mrs. Atinuke Bakare, Olorunda PDP Women Leader and was supercededly declared by Olorunda PDP Apex leader, Senator Dr. Oluwole Alabi”.
Signatories included, Senator Dr. Oluwole Alabi, Dr. Muyiwa Oladimeji, Elder Funsho Isola, Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere, Hon. Alhaji Maruff Adewale Gangaria, High Chief Akolade Olanrewaju Apesin, Alhaji Rasaq Oyetunji Oluomo, Hon. Obafemi Akolade and Hon. Kunle Olaniyan.
Others were, Hon. Rafiu Fashola, Hon. Nurudeen Ademola Hamzat, Hon. Nathaniel Adekunle Ojetola, Hon. Adejobi, All Councilors, All Outgoing and Incoming Ward Chairmen of Olorunda PDP, Olorunda PDP Local Executive Members as well as all Political Appointees from Olorunda.
