Osun Guber: Remain Focused, United — Engr Badmus Urges Residents

As Muslims all over the world celebrate Id-el-Fitri after the end of the Ramadan fast, the Executive Director ,Marine and Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA & Global President, LAUTECH Alumni Association, Engr. Olalekan Abdul-Rahaman Badmus, FNSE, has charged members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to remain steadfast, focused and united for the victory of the party in the August 15th Governorship election in Osun state.

Engr Badmus who gave the charge in his Id-el-Fitri message made available to newsmen said, the success of the party depends on the dedication and ability of its members to work as a team.

“Even as we celebrate, let our focus remain steadfast as we strive for victory for our dear party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the upcoming Osun 2026 gubernatorial polls.

“Success of our party depends on our dedication and ability to work together, let’s strengthen our bond, reach out to every community and ensure that no voice is left unheard.

“We have demonstrated that APC is not just a party but a movement for progress, development, and the betterment of lives of every Osun citizens, however, my dear people, as we celebrate today, we must also look ahead the August 15th Governorship election is there for us as another opportunity to showcase the strength of our unity and the power of our collective resolve.

“This is the time for us to work together again for us to achieve great things, together. This is the right time for us to demonstrate our support to our Party’s Governorship Candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, AMBO”.

Engr Badmus who called on Muslim faithful to extend their service to Almighty Allah and humanity beyond the Ramadan period felicitates with them on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, describing the holy month as a period of spiritual renewal and moral rebirth for believers.

He said, “As the crescent moon signals the end of this glorious month, my heart is filled with gratitude to Almighty Allah ,SWT, for granting us the strength and health to complete the Ramadan fast.

“Ramadan is more than a month of abstinence; it is a rigorous school of the soul. Over the past thirty days, we have cultivated the virtues of Sabr (patience), Taqwa ,God-consciousness, and Ihsan (excellence in all things). Whether in our professional practices, our roles within communities, or our personal lives and beyond, these lessons are the blueprints for a better society.

“As we bid farewell to this blessed month, Let the spirit of charity, purity of heart and the unwavering faith we exhibited remain our guiding lights throughout the year.

“May Allah ,SWT, accept our Ibadah, forgive our shortcomings, and purify our intentions. May He grant us the grace to witness many more Ramadans in sound health and prosperity.

“As we transition into the festivities of Eid and especially full-scale electioneering mood in our dear state, let us remember to extend a hand of fellowship to the less privileged and pray for the peace and progress of our dear nation.
