Emir of Bade, Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman has called on Nigerians to live in peace with one another to foster peace and national unity.
Suleiman made the call in commemoration of the one year anniversary of Governor Mai Mala Buni.
According to him, no society or country can achieve any meaningful development or greatness in an atmosphere of chaos and mistrust.
He also congratulated President Bola Tinubu and Governor Buni for their developmental projects executed in one year in office.
The monarch also noted that the moderate achievements recorded particularly in the state capital within the last one year is unprecedented in the history of the state.
He commended Governor Buni for his relentless efforts in reducing the menace of Boko Haram.
The emir admonished him to sustain the tempo of infrastructural development and ensure fair and equitable distribution of projects and programmes across the state.
He urged the people to continue giving their cooperation and maximum support to leaders for the interest of the nation.
“We need a leader that can listen and executed projects that will help the people,” he said.
