Mai Palace Completes Renovation of Six Classroom Blocks at Government Girls Day Secondary School, Gusau

In a major boost to the education sector in Zamfara State, Honourable Kabiru Amadu Mai Palace has successfully completed the renovation of six blocks of classrooms at Government Girls Day Secondary School, Gusau.

The project, which was undertaken as part of his constituency intervention initiatives, is aimed at providing a more conducive learning environment for students and teachers, thereby improving academic performance and overall school standards.

Speaking during the inspection of the renovated facilities, Hon. Mai Palace said the gesture was in line with his commitment to promote quality education in Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency. He noted that investing in education remains one of the most effective ways to empower the younger generation and secure a brighter future for the state.

According to him, the renovation covered roofing repairs, painting, replacement of windows and doors, and provision of functional furniture to enhance comfort and usability.

He pledged a continue to prioritize educational development, alongside other key sectors, to ensure that no child is left behind due to poor infrastructure.

School authorities, staff, and students expressed gratitude to the lawmaker, describing the renovated classrooms as a “lifeline” that will transform teaching and learning experiences in the school.
