Senate has suspended the confirmation of Enugu State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kingsley Udeh (SAN) as minister, citing absence of a mandatory security clearance.
President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, discussed this yesterday on the floor of the red chamber .
According to Akpabio, “The confirmation of the minister-nominee would have been next on the list, but we need security clearance”.
It would be recalled that President Bola Tinubu had on Tuesday requested that the Senate confirm Udeh as a minister.
