Kalu Hails Tinubu for Appointing Oriaku As FCC Chairman

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu has congratulated Obinna Oriaku on his appointment as the Commissioner representing Abia State at the Federal Character Commission, FCC. 

In a statement Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu commended President Bola Tinubu for the appointment, describing the choice of Oriaku, a former Commissioner for Finance in Abia, as a round peg in a round hole.

The deputy speaker also congratulated other appointees from the South East, noting that the appointments reflect President Tinubu’s commitment to inclusivity and regional representation.

Kalu, who represents Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State in the House of Representatives, added that the development also speaks to the visionary leadership of President Tinubu, stressing that his benevolence has continued to spread across the region.

He expressed confidence in Oriaku’s intellectual competence and technical expertise to excel in his new role and make Abia proud.

Kalu also called for continued support for Tinubu from the people of the Sout East as he diligently implements the Renewed Hope Agenda.
