In a celebration of a fulfilled life, the Amokeodo family from Ilesa, Osun State, last Wednesday, buried one of their illustrious sons, the late Joseph Olusanu Amokeodo.
A community leader and successful businessman, the late Joseph Amokeodo was fondly called “Brother Joe”.
He died in Lagos on June 14, 2026 at the age of 80 years.
The funeral rites commenced on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 with a Christian Wake at 40, Alhaja Eleshin Street, Ogudu, Lagos, the event was attended by family members, relatives, associates and friends.
This was followed by the funeral mass at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ojota, Lagos on June 24, 2026.
The remains of the late Joseph Amokeodo were thereafter interned at 31b, Galilee Avenue, Iju, Lagos while the guests were entertained at a reception in his residence at Ogudu, Lagos.
The late Joseph Amokeodo is survived by children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, uncles, nieces, cousins and aunts.
The officiating Catholic Priest preached the need for fear of God and kindness to others for a dynamic society.
