Joeboy Speaks Against Domestic Violence On African Women

Date:

Singer Joseph Akinfenwaa, aka Joeboy, has stated the inspiration behind his hit single ‘Better’ is to drive home the negative impact of domestic violence on women.
In a recent interview with media personality Vivz, Joeboy revealed that he wrote the song to raise awareness about domestic violence against women.

He expressed his concern about the prevalence of domestic abuse in African society, where women often face mistreatment.

Praising the song, the host said: “‘Better’ is my favourite song ever. In that song, it’s like you’re speaking up for a woman that has been treated badly by another man.”

Joeboy said: “It’s something that happens a lot in African society; domestic abuse. Sometimes women are maltreated and not treated properly. I wanted to shed light on domestic violence against women.”
