Three-time Grand Slam finalist Ons Jabeur has announced a break from tennis, citing the need to prioritize her mental and physical health.
The 30-year-old Tunisian withdrew from the Montreal Open and has not entered next month’s US Open.
“Deep down, I haven’t felt happy on court for some time now,” she said. Jabeur, once ranked world No. 2, has now dropped to 71st.
