The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Neurospark FC as the club begins its Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign following its historic promotion from the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO).
The newly promoted side paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the FCT FA, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed, and members of the Association’s board. The delegation was received on behalf of the Chairman by the FCT FA Secretary, Coach Usman Ilerika.
In a press statement issued on Saturday by the
Head, Media Committee Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) Uche Nwudoh Hillary stated that, Coach Ilerika congratulated Neurospark FC for securing the North Central promotion ticket at the recently concluded NLO Promotion Playoffs in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
“On behalf of the Chairman and the Board of the FCT Football Association, I congratulate Neurospark FC on this remarkable achievement. You have made the Federal Capital Territory proud by earning promotion from the NLO, and we are confident you have what it takes to continue this impressive journey,” Ilerika said.
He urged the club to prepare adequately for the challenges of the Nigeria National League, describing the NNL as one of the country’s most competitive football competitions.
“The NNL is one of the toughest football leagues in Nigeria. Success at this level will require thorough preparation, discipline, commitment and unity of purpose. The management, technical crew and players must remain focused and work together because you are now representing not only your club but the entire Federal Capital Territory,” he added.
Coach Ilerika assured Neurospark FC of the FCT FA’s unwavering support as the club pursues its ambition of securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
“The FCT FA will continue to provide the enabling environment and necessary support for your aspirations. We encourage you to remain disciplined, dedicated and committed as you strive to earn promotion to the NPFL,” he stated.
He also commended the club’s management, coaching staff and players for bringing pride and honour to the FCT through their outstanding performance, expressing confidence that the team would achieve even greater success in the seasons ahead.
Neurospark FC secured promotion to the Nigeria National League after an impressive performance at the NLO Promotion Playoffs in Lafia, winning two of their three matches to emerge as one of the promoted teams from the North Central zone.
