Former Minister of Petroleum and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Akwa Ibom State, Atuekong Don Etiebet, has described the working relationship between Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno as “legendary” since the governor joined the party in June last year.
Etiebet made the remark in a congratulatory message personally signed by him to mark Akpabio’s 63rd birthday.
According to him, “Your zeal and dedication to a just, equitable and prosperous Nigeria, as well as your partnership with our excellent Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, to foster a stable, united and peaceful Akwa Ibom State on the platform of the APC, are profound. This synergy is unprecedented in the state.
“It therefore gives me immense pleasure to join your well-wishers, family and friends in celebrating you on this auspicious occasion. You are truly an enigma and a great man.
“We celebrate your steadfastness, uncommon leadership and selfless service to humanity. As President of the Senate, you have introduced remarkable initiatives and delivered robust and effective legislative performance, significantly advancing Nigeria’s democratic development on the African continent.
“May God continue to bless you with good health, strength and wisdom to sustain your uncommon service to our dear country. Your footprints will be hard to erase. As you attain this new age, may the Almighty continue to uplift, uphold and strengthen you for the tasks ahead, and grant you abundant good health,” he prayed.
