Osun Amotekun Corps has arrested a middle aged man, Muritala Ibrahim, for allegedly defiling a 10-year old girl in Agba town, Boripe Local Government Area.
Ibrahim was arrested after the girl’s mother lodged a complaint at Amotekun, Boripe Command.
He allegedly lured the girl into his residence, where he forcefully had canal knowledge of her. Ibrahim also shaved part of the girl’s hair and gave her another dress to wear.
Confirming the arrest to newsmen in Osogbo, the Corps Commander, Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr Adekunle Omoyele said the suspect was arrested after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Amotekun Boripe Command, the operatives swung into action immediately and apprehended the felon at his residence in Agba.
Upon preliminary investigation, “the felon confessed to perpetrating the act,” Omoyele asserted.
He has been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
