The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Mr Nyesom Wike has told the newly elected Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo to ensure regular consultation with stakeholders before taking final decisions that has to do with governance.
Wike gave the advice during a thank you visit to the area council after the FCT Area Councils elections held recently which five of it six councils are won by the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The Minister who expressed displeasure over what he called betrayal attitude of the out-going Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Abdullah Sabo during the election, urged the in-coming chairman not to fail in his own promise to support Tinubu second term bid.
He promised the people of the area council that the three requests made by the chairman elect would be considered by June when the new administration in the FCT area councils will take off
The request includes construction of Kuje Peigi, Kuje-Abaji and Kuje – Kebi roads.
Earlier, the chairman elect of the area council, Danladi Samuel Shekwolo has pledged his area council support for the second term of President Tinubu re-election, with requests from minister on construction of three additional roads.
Also Kuje Traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, GOMO of Kuje, Haruna Tanko has called the attention of the minister to the need of his people on provision of pipe born water and construction of Kuje Peigi and Kuje-Abaji roads
