Edo State governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has signed the 2026 Appropriation Bill of N939 billion, tagged ‘Budget of Hope and Growth,’ after the bill was passed by the House of Assembly.
Assenting to the bill at the Government House, Benin City, Governor Okpebholo said the budget would move Edo State to greater heights.
Speaker Blessing Agbebaku, who led other members of the House to the budget signing, appreciated the governor for his developmental strides which has positively transformed the state and the people benefiting from his practical governance style.
He noted that history had been made by the Okpebholo-led administration for judiciously utililing state resources in developing and transforming the state.
