Founder of Women and Family Advancement Initiative, WAFAI, International, has called on Nigerians to rededicate themselves to nation building and service to humanity
In a statement to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independent anniversary, Dr. Lady Uche Obi, said the anniversary celebrations should provide opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the journey so far to chart the way forward for a better and more United Nigeria
The WAFAI, founder, commended the President, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, GCFR, for his bold economic reforms noting that they are beginning to yield results
She said WAFAI, will continue to complement the efforts of the government at all levels to improve the economic well-being of the people through its various family empowerment programs
According to her, many families have already benefited from WFAI, through training and provision of family support incentives in health, education, agriculture and other skills acquisition programs across all states including the federal capital Territory
She said that her organisation is essentially a humanitarian service provider that is focused on poverty alleviation and upliftment of family values.
